In 1997 the Western Australian Department of Education commissioned a small local IT company to write them a software program that would help them manage their housing. The role of this branch of the W.A. Education Department is to take care of housing requirements of employees that have been appointed to regional and remote areas within the vast state of Western Australia. The Housing Allocation System was born, written originally in MS Access 1997 version. Nearly 25 years later, the Housing Allocation System, or HAS as it is known within the Education Department, is still going strong!
“Gavin has worked at changing and improving the Housing Allocation System (HAS) over many years. He is extremely competent with MS Access and always delivers what we require. He is always very helpful with managing the flow of our data between different government agencies” – Wayne Sieber, Housing and Transport Officer, W.A. Dept Of Education
